Welcome!

My name is Alexa Freeman & I am a wedding + graduate photographer based in Cullman, Alabama. I travel anywhere in North Alabama, Middle Tennessee, & beyond!

My main services include wedding & graduate photography. My goal as a photographer is to give you stunning images in an exceptionally fast turnaround time, while also helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera. My editing style can be described as warm, colorful, & timeless!

I’m originally from Franklin, Tennessee, & now live in Cullman, Alabama with my husband, Check. I studied Animal and Dairy Science at Mississippi State before discovering my love for photography & deciding to start my own business. My husband is a cattle farmer (@dohi_angus), and I help out with that when I’m not taking photos.

I would describe my personality as a mix of creative and organized. I love taking creative photos, & also thoroughly enjoy the detail-oriented planning process leading up to a wedding!

My husband & Second Photographer

Check & I met at Mississippi State in the Animal Science program. He is a dedicated farmer and Cullman native, so I moved to AL right after we got married in 2022.

He is my second photographer at every wedding, so if you book me for your day, Check will be there!

Why should you hire me? There are so many good photographers out there! Here’s why your session will stand out:

Response Time: I respond quickly to inquiries and emails. I know what it’s like to have a burning question for your photographer and to want an answer ASAP! Responses are daily 9:00am-5:00pm.
Comfortability: The main compliment I receive from clients is that I make them feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is so important to get natural-looking photos!
Getting Your Photos Quickly: One benefit of me being obsessed with my job is that I can’t wait to edit your photos! While I don’t rush and miss important details, I’ll be done with your non-wedding photos within a week.
Understanding: I’m here to take photos for YOU, not simply to add to my portfolio. I will always value individual preferences when it comes to your photoshoot and your vision.
Straightforward: I will be honest with you about everything in my business. I am always willing to answer any of your questions about pricing, planning, and the process!

Planning a wedding is a lot of hard work! You’ll need someone dependable to answer your questions and help organize the most beautiful day of your life.

Portraits are so important when you graduate high school or college. Every gallery includes at least 100 images, so you’ll have many to share online, print on announcement cards, and hang on the walls of your family’s homes! :)

Once you fill out the contact form to get in my inbox, I will respond quickly to let you know about my availability for your photos. After we talk about plans and set up a call (required for weddings!), I will send you an invoice, contract, and questionnaire.
A 30% deposit is required for all shoots to hold your date. The remaining payment is due 1 month (weddings) or 1 week (other) before your shoot.
After we get some amazing photos during the session, I will send you a few previews the next day, and then have your remaining photos delivered within 3 weeks for weddings and 1-4 days for other sessions.
